Lid Maker Trunk Case — the workhorse trunk for life on the road
When the show has to move, the Lid Maker Trunk Case is the flight case trunk that gets your kit there in one piece. Built around a deep base and a fast-access lift-off lid, it's the go-to road trunk for touring crews, live-event production and broadcast teams who need to pack cables, tools, spares and loose gear into one tough, stackable box and trust it to survive the truck, the loading bay and the back of the venue.
Like every case we build, it's hand made in Britain at our Market Harborough workshop — combining professional-grade panel materials with CNC precision and the kind of hardware that takes a knock and keeps closing.
Built to take the beating
- Rigid panel construction bonded into aluminium extrusion edging for a stiff, impact-resistant shell that stacks and travels.
- Penn Elcom hardware throughout — recessed latches, sprung dish handles and steel ball corners that shrug off rough handling and keep the trunk square load after load.
- Lift-off "Lid Maker" lid for quick, full-width access to everything inside — no awkward reaching into a fixed box.
- Stackable, transit-ready footprint sized for trucks, flight-deck loading and tight backstage storage.

Panel options include Hexaboard (standard), HPL, Rigid PVC Pattern, Flight Panel, UltraFlite and Diamond Board, available in black plus a full range of colours — white, grey, dark and light green, bright and golden yellow, orange, red, pink, purple and the full blue range — so you can colour-code departments or match your brand.

Thank you for purchasing through Nomad Limited. We aim to deliver high-quality and in good condition however, if you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help.
Please be aware: you have 14 working days to return or 24 hours to notify us of a non-conforming item from the date you received it.
Returns
IN THE CASE OF RETURNS, THE CUSTOMER IS LIABLE FOR RETURN SHIPPING.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Customised products such as bespoke flight and poly cases or custom foam inserts are not eligible for return. For non-conforming items please refer below.
To return an item, your item must be in the original packaging. Please attach your proof of purchase to the item you are returning. If there are multiple items, please make a note on your proof of purchase showing the number of parcels in your consignment and attach it to one of the parcels. Failure to provide this may prevent or slow the refund process.
Once we receive your item, we will inspect it prior to initiating the refund process. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card or original method of payment. Full refunds on returns will be made subject to the returned goods being in a new and re-sell-able condition. Refunds on returns will be made within 14 calendar days from receiving the return. We will notify you by email when the refund has been processed.
Discounts and Refunds will be credited within 7 calendar days of agreement to your Nomad Limited credit account. Alternatively, we will initiate the refund or discount to your credit card or original method of payment.

Shipping
You will be responsible for arranging and paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Non-Conforming Goods
In the case of a non-conformance please inform your Nomad sales contact. You may be required to provide images of the non-conformance where possible to assist your sales representative with providing you with the best possible solution. Nomad will aim to either Replace, Discount, Refund or Correct (via spare parts or amendments) any non-conforming goods as quickly as possible and in line with your requirements.
