Medium Explorer Cases

The middle of the Explorer range is where most working kits live: big enough for a camera body and lenses, a drone and controller, test instruments or a day's hand tools — small enough to lift into a van, carry across a site or stow in a paddock. Every medium Explorer case here is IP67-rated, injection-moulded from high-impact polypropylene copolymer with a watertight seal, automatic pressure-relief valve and corrosion-proof hinges.

Most models come in black, olive green, orange and desert tan, with egg-crate lid foam and pre-cubed base foam ready to shape around your kit — or skip the cubes and have us CNC-cut the interior properly.

The core carry cases

The Explorer 4209HL, 4412, 4419, 4820, 5117 and 5325 cover the classic mid-size formats — from slimline document-and-instrument depth up to genuinely deep boxes for cameras, optics and electronics. All carry one-handed, lock with padlockable latches and stack cleanly for storage and transit.

Wheels, drawers and a mobile office

Three specials earn their place in this collection. The Explorer 5122 adds wheels for heavier loads. The Explorer 5140 is a rolling tool case with a telescopic handle, four pull-out drawers and a removable tray — a complete mobile workshop in one IP-rated shell. And the Explorer 4412 Laptop Bag pairs the 4412 shell with a padded notebook insert and accessory pouches: a waterproof mobile office for site engineers and field crews.
