Cables are heavy, but rigging is heavier. Our Rigging Utility Trunk keeps the standard 1200mm footprint but upgrades the chassis for extreme loads.
Reinforced Base: We upgrade the floor to 18mm Birch Ply (standard is often 9mm or 12mm) to prevent the castors from punching through when hitting cable ramps.
Castor Upgrade: Fitted with ultra-heavy-duty castors (often 6 wheels instead of 4) to distribute the weight of chain motors and steel.
Bare Wood Interior: Unlike cable trunks which are often painted or foam-lined, we leave this raw or finished with a tough phenolic coating to withstand the abrasion of chains and shackles.
