Custom Flight Cases for Screens and Monitors

Protection for Broadcast, F1, Medical & Scientific Displays

Protecting Your Critical View, Globally:

From the high-refresh rate monitors displaying crucial race telemetry in F1 pit walls to the sensitive diagnostic screens used in medical and scientific labs, and the massive LED displays for high-end production tours—your visual assets are indispensable. Screens and monitors, regardless of size, are fragile, high-value investments that demand uncompromising protection during transit.

The Nomad Screens and Monitors Collection is custom-engineered at our Market Harborough factory to provide absolute visual integrity across all demanding professional sectors. We guarantee that your screens, monitors, and complex video walls arrive calibrated, functional, and ready to deploy globally.

Precision Engineering for Universal Protection

Drawing on our legacy of British manufacturing excellence since 1961, we apply shock-isolation technology perfected for the world's fastest sports to safeguard electronics and glass in every application:

  • Sector-Versatile Design: Whether protecting a small, high-resolution scientific monitor, a rugged motorsport display, or a large hospitality/broadcast screen, every case features custom-engineered interiors to precisely cradle the specific size and curvature of the unit.
  • Optic & Panel Integrity: We use multi-density, CNC-cut foam inserts that lock the screen in place, isolating the fragile display panel and bezel from external shocks and pressure that cause fractures and dead pixels.
  • Motorised & Complex Screens: Solutions for motorised screens and integrated displays feature internal bracing to secure moving parts, preventing mechanical damage during movement.
  • Road-Ready Construction: Built with heavy-duty, tour-grade hardware and reinforced corners, every case meets the rigorous logistical demands of touring companies, the rapid turnaround of F1 logistics, and the sterile requirements of medical transport, all assured by our Market Harborough, UK manufacturing process.

The Nomad Guarantee:

Don't let transit compromise your critical data or visual presentation. Trust the precision and durability relied upon by the world’s most demanding industries.

Frequently Asked Questions

What screen sizes can you build flight cases for?

We custom-build for everything from 40" monitors up to 100" displays and full video walls, organised into dedicated series: 40"–49", 50"–59", 60"–69", 70"–79" and 80"–100". We also make motorised screen cases and our lighter Lite Guard™ HDPE poly cases. If your screen falls outside a standard bracket, we engineer to your exact dimensions at our Market Harborough factory.

How are the screens protected inside the case?

Every case is fitted with CNC-machined high-density foam, cut to cradle the precise profile of your screen, bezel and mounting points. The foam absorbs shock and holds the panel immobile in transit, so glass, LED tiles and sensitive diagnostic displays arrive calibrated and ready to deploy.

Are these cases suitable for broadcast, motorsport and medical use?

Yes. The collection is engineered for the most demanding professional sectors—F1 pit walls, broadcast and outside production, touring LED, and medical and scientific labs. The same build standards apply across all of them: protect a high-value, fragile asset through repeated global transit without compromising its function.

What hardware do you use?

We fit Penn Elcom hardware throughout—recessed handles, butterfly latches and corner protection—built onto 9.5mm birch ply or hexaboard panels. Larger cases run on 100mm castors for safe single-person manoeuvring on and off the truck.

What is a Lite Guard™ case and when should I choose one?

Lite Guard™ cases are moulded from HDPE polyethylene rather than ply, giving you a lighter case for the same level of protection. They're ideal where weight and airline or courier costs matter more than a fully bespoke ply build, while still using our CNC foam interiors.

Can you build a case for a motorised or unusually shaped screen?

Yes. Our motorised screen cases are designed around lift mechanisms and integrated mounts, and we regularly build for obscure sizes and shapes that don't fit a standard catalogue. Send us the spec and our team will engineer the solution.

How long does a custom screen case take, and do you ship worldwide?

Lead times depend on the size and complexity of the build—contact us for a current estimate on your project. We manufacture in-house in Market Harborough, Leicestershire and ship fast worldwide, with cases engineered to survive the journey to wherever you're deploying.

Can you brand cases in our rental fleet livery?

Yes. We screen-print and finish cases in your branding so your hire stock is instantly identifiable.

Where are your cases made?

Every case is hand-made in Britain at our Market Harborough facility in Leicestershire, where we've been manufacturing flight cases for over 60 years. We invest continually in the latest CNC technology to keep tolerances tight and protection uncompromising.
