6-Way Chauvet Rogue Outcast 1 BeamWash Flight Case

IP65 fixture protection. Festival-grade transit. Six-fixture efficiency for touring rigs.

The Nomad 6-Way Chauvet Rogue Outcast 1 BeamWash Case is built for the touring lighting crews, festival production teams, and rental houses moving Chauvet Professional's IP65-rated hybrid moving heads between venues — where the fixture's combined beam and wash optics, motorised yoke, and outdoor-rated build need protection that matches the engineering quality of the fixture itself.

Hand-built in our Market Harborough workshop, every case carries six Rogue Outcast 1 BeamWash fixtures in dual-density CNC foam tooling — cradling each fixture from below and above, isolating motors and optics from the impacts and vibration of festival load-ins, freight transit, and the 200+ shows a year these fixtures work through on a typical touring season.

Engineered for the fixture's hybrid optical system

The Rogue Outcast 1 BeamWash isn't a single-function moving head. It's a hybrid fixture — a precision beam optic and a wide-throw wash optic combined in one IP65-rated outdoor body. Both optical systems are sensitive to alignment shifts caused by vibration, impact, and rough handling during freight transit.

A generic foam-fitted flight case protects the outer body of the fixture. It doesn't account for the optical alignment between beam and wash modes. It doesn't isolate the motorised yoke from sustained low-frequency vibration during truck transit. It doesn't recognise that a hybrid fixture has twice the optical complexity of a standard moving head — and twice the cost when something goes out of alignment.

This case is engineered around exactly those failure modes.

Built around the IP65 fixture body

Every Nomad 6-Way Outcast 1 BeamWash case is CNC-profiled to the exact dimensions of the fixture — including the motorised yoke, the IP65-sealed optical assembly, and the connection panel at the rear. Dual-density Plastazote foam tooling cradles each fixture in a dedicated cavity, isolating the optical system from vibration and absorbing impact loads during festival load-ins.

The fixtures sit yoke-up in the foam tray, allowing crews to visually inspect each unit before pulling it for the show. Each fixture's motorised yoke is supported separately from the main body, ensuring the motor doesn't carry the fixture's weight during transit — a small detail that meaningfully extends motor service life over multiple touring seasons.

Engineered around how rigging crews actually work

The case is built on a reinforced 18mm wheelboard with heavy-duty 100mm braked castors, recessed butterfly latches on every closure, and 9mm hexa-laminate panel construction throughout. Aircraft-grade aluminium extrusions protect every edge. Reinforced steel corner blocks at every junction.

It stacks cleanly with other Nomad cases for truck-pack efficiency. It rolls smoothly across festival mud, stadium concrete, and venue ramps alike. It survives the brutal physical reality of touring without protruding hardware to catch, snag, or damage adjacent equipment in the truck.

Specified by the production professionals who depend on this fixture

Our 6-Way Chauvet Rogue Outcast 1 BeamWash Cases are trusted by touring lighting crews running European festival circuits, broadcast lighting teams kitting out outdoor event installations, rental houses maintaining IP65-rated moving head fleets, and production companies specifying premium flight case standards across high-value fixture roll-outs.

The brief is always the same: protect the optics, protect the motor, survive the weather, and keep six fixtures travelling together as one efficient unit.

If you're maintaining a fleet of Rogue Outcast 1 BeamWash fixtures and need cases specified properly across the inventory, talk to our team about volume builds. Most of what leaves our workshop is built to specification, and most of our rental house customers reorder year after year.
